This time, it is the new model KS2, a hybrid that mounts a dynamic 10mm driver and a BA driver of its own manufacture.

They’re ridiculously small in profile too, each one has been designed to fit nicely into your inner ear canals, without slipping out or from becoming uncomfortable. The shells are unmarked except for a KBEAR logo on the faceplate and the model number with left and right markers on the top side. It's not very loud, and the volume of my devices doesn't seem to affect the volume of the hissing at all; the hissing is just as loud when the volume is on 10% as it is when the volume is on 100%.The KBear logo is on the front of the shell with KBear KS1 and L/R marked in matching gray across the rear surface. KBear lists an aluminum wave guide and a rear cavity designed into the driver to help tune the Ks1 along with the shell material itself being selected to reduce resonances and reflected sound from the rear of the driver. Well, drivers have come a long way since then – and today, the quality of the drivers appears to offset the odd, strange-looking graph.

Thicker more substantial note weight while enhancing its technical abilities with added texture to their sound properties. If you feel the Aurora can do with a bit more treble emphasis and or less you can certainly do some cable rolling to help shape the treble region to your liking. However if instead of a plastic shell they had used some other material we would probably have had a much better sound. Overall the fit is universal and the contours are rounded and safe enough for those folks who don’t like protruding wings. At the end of the day, if you're looking for a natural sounding IEM with a good amount of width, a fair instrument separation and excellent overall detail for the money, Aurora is an excellent choice, and as long as you remember to try some tip rolling, you should have an excellent experience with them, and they are a fully recommended purchase.

I unfortunately could not find a lot information about the (new) company but they seem to be active on Facebook and Aliexpress. I'm hearing things in my music that I never could before, they don't make ridiculous noise from the cable rubbing on my shirt when I breathe, they don't creak, and for the most part I love these things already. I saw a post recently from a headfier that had to clean out the mesh screen from his expensive earphone as it was clogged with his wax.
