About this deal

Hiccup was born on the 29th of February during a leap year, effectively making him 3 and a 1/2, as of the last book, and about 25 by the time he wrote his memoirs. Snotlout is a bully, fully adhering to the survival of the fittest attitude of the Vikings - only the strong can belong. He is extremely competitive, but also feels pressure to be noticed, as he is only the second in line for the chiefdom on Berk.

In How to Steal a Dragon's Sword, the Bog-Burglars went to Flashburn's School of Swordfighting with the rest of the tribes of the Archipelago so that their young members could train under Flashburn. I wonder if I would be more upset by this kind of thing if the author wasn’t female? That’s something I’ll have to think about. Recommendation Camicazi is hyperactive and somewhat overconfident, but also very brave and loyal to her friends. Like all Bog-Burglars, she is generally disdainful towards men, including the Hairy Hooligans, but is one of the few people who has a healthy respect for Hiccup's abilities and his bravery.

Though Snotlout and his film counterpart have many similarities, they also have many differences which include:

In Book 4, Camicazi is described as "a very small girl with a swagger and the tangliest hair in the Inner Isles." Abilities [ ] Two Seadragonus Giganticus Maximus (the Green Death and the Purple Death) wash up on Berk in a great storm the night before the boys are scheduled to leave in exile. Hiccup, as the only person on the island capable of speaking Dragonese, is sent to inquire as to the dragons' purpose. Learning that the Green Death, though coming in peace, still intends to eat everyone on the island, Hiccup leads the exiled boys in a fiendishly clever plan to get the two Seadragons to fight each other. The dying Green Death eats Hiccup, who only survives due to Toothless' selfless actions. For their heroism, the boys are un-banished and Hiccup's standing in the tribe improves. I always begin my stories with a map of my imaginary place. Lots of other authors have done the same – Robert Louis Stevenson drew a map of Treasure Island before starting to write. This is a really easy way of thinking about characters and setting.Digital Card: Get instant access in the Yoto App when you buy this digital card. In the third installment, while Hiccup and Fishlegs are out at sea learning the Boarding-an-Enemy-Ship lesson, they become lost. Fishlegs, fearful of Sharkworms in the waters, accidentally boards a Roman Ship in the fog. Fishlegs is caught, while Hiccup hides and tries to figure out a way to free him and escape. Hiccup overhears a 'fiendishly clever' plan by the Fat Consul and the Thin Prefect to get the Hooligans and the Bog-Burglars to fight each other, then steal all their dragons while they are occupied. Hiccup is able to cause a distraction and escape with Fishlegs, but not before loosing half of his How to Speak Dragonese notebook and Toothless getting captured. Often kids say to be that they aren’t very good at writing, but I know that’s not true – what they’re struggling with is the mechanics of getting the words onto paper. If you can make up a game in the playground, or you tell your friends stories, you can be an author! Get an adult to write or type for you, if you need to. In Book 4, Camicazi relates that " Bog-Burglars always listen in on other people's conversations." Most likely, this is advantageous to thievery. Later, she goes further and says " We Bog-Burglars have no morals at all. It's very useful to us".
