About this deal

Let's begin with my all-time favourite gorgeous girl in this series, Kimberly. I love her so much. It's the way and things I relate to her that are so deep, it was truly a struggle to watch her go through so much. All. alone. Everything about her: how her mother treated her or how she repressed her feelings. She's "fat," and being fat shamed was so so horrible. It was difficult for me to read about because it made me feel really deja vu-like. Look at the tws for this one since the feelings were so intense and real.

Updated review posted after processing everything that has happened but you can get the gist of it here. Kim’s mother and friends have been cruel to her and made fun of her body all the time. Xander was also one of the people who were hurting her. Before Xan stopped talking to her, they were inseparable best friends. She took full responsibility for his rejection because he was someone she had put her trust in. The only thing that gets her out of bed in the morning is her younger brother Kir, who was really CUTE. She will give up everything for him. They are very close, but her dad is often gone for work.I've been trying to write this for four days, but I simply think that whatever I write is not good enough to do this book justice. So I gave up trying to translate everything I felt while reading, but I'll do my best to get close to it. I groan as I place my hand on his chest. Now that he’s put the idea in my head, I’m so sure I will. I was very excited to start my Rina Kent binge, cause I love world building in romance, but I am starting to think this author is a weird, conservative freak who hates women.

the side characters. It just warms my heart ❤️. It also gets me excited to read the next ones 👀 I mean... I'm already in love with Aiden and Elsa lol

See a Problem?

What surprised me the most was the creepy part of this book , i'm not gonna spoiler anything but you should get ready for some pretty creepy and mind-blowing PLOT TWISTS .... My knight, she used to call me. Now, I’m a rusty one without armour or a sword. I abandoned being her knight to become War.~ bruh stfu why you so dramatic!?

There were moments in the book when he just got on my nerves because of his bad behavior towards Silver. Xander Knight really annoyed me in the beginning of the book, but as I kept reading it, that anger disappeared only to be replaced by pure understanding and affection for the blue eyed boy that won my heart. He is a combination of the best traits a male character can have, from his complexity to his tenderness. You can love bad boys or prefer good guys, but no matter what, Xander will give you silly smiles and butterflies, for sure.I can see why Rina still says this is her most emotional book, it takes you on a different journey than the rest of the Elite couples. The Hero: Cole – He and two friends were kidnapped when they were eight and it changed him. He is one of the four horsemen at Royal Elite and is called Famine because he is silent and deadly on the field. Silver, mon amour, your tits are beautiful but not beautiful enough to have me cause damage to Ron Astor the Second.”

the swoooonines🥰. Sigh... yup... Xan made me swoon a few times... and in the epilogues I swooooned even more🥹😫 I loved how they healed each other together. They could not have been more perfect for each other. Their journey was heartbreaking to watch but am glad they got through it. Their story is one am not going to be forgetting for a while. Kimberly is going to have a special place in my heart forever. The author proved yet again that she’s BRILLIANT. Not only did the book answer all the questions that kept spinning in my head since I read the first book in this series, but it showed the main characters in a new light and it also showed that the characters are never what they seem at first, but we need to see their side of the story so we can to understand them. Again the book was being repetitive. I wanted some more angst and drama. Not the same thing again and again and again. I was going to give this book 2 stars but then the whole Doll master thing took me by surprise so I Increased the rating.Lastly, this is classified as a standalone and while I do believe it’s enjoyable on it’s own, I strongly suggest reading the first three books of this series if you haven’t already, as the couple in this book was mentioned several times and it kind of sets up their dynamic that’s followed up in this book. Xander🤢 he is a big fat NO for me. Nothing special. He did not reached the level at all. Like in my head he is a pathetic bastard. ✋🙄. The things he made Kim go through and the thoughts he made her think? Like all those angry glances and those threatening things were not it okay!
