When you land on a hero that has not been drafted, you must draft them or auction their allegiance.

You can buy, sell, or swap heroes with other players at any time. You must sell all buildings in a color set to the Bank before you can sell or trade a hero. You cannot sell or trade buildings to another player.Sell Headquarters to the Bank for half the cost price, and exchange them immediately for 4 Bases. Sell Bases to the Bank for half the cost price. Bases must be sold evenly across the color set. Sidelining (Mortgaging) Heroes After passing go, players usually receive a bonus in whatever currency is relevant to the game.
