About this deal

Print quality was generally very good, with sharp text and even, glitch free-graphics, but pages lacked the impact and sheen of the best lasers, looking in some lights more like output from a capable inkjet. Any Rexel and GBC Business machines unless dead on arrival must be claimed through the manufacturer Acco. Accessible en Wifi à partir du smartphone ou d'un ordinateur avec une connexion USB (Câble non fournit) ou par l’intermédiaire du réseau.

Note that, as with all lasers, don't touch any roller surface or gold electrical contact or you're likely to damage it with finger grease. This A4 colour laser offers decent printing and even better scans, with a range of helpful features, but it’s undermined by the fact that Brother’s far superior top-of-the-line MFP is only fractionally more expensive - making this model somewhat redundant.

The item must be unused, in its original packaging and in a resaleable condition; this includes no writing or instructions on the packaging. That's better than most rivals, and low-volume users will probably not get to replacing the last two before wanting a more modern replacement - 100 packets is a lot of paper! Whether digitizing important paperwork or preserving old photos, the DCP-L3550CDW excels in delivering exceptional scan quality. The copier function works really well, using either the flat bed or sheet feed options with A4 pages, and can also cope with reproducing book pages (though thicker books need to be opened out well to prevent light bleed from turning the centre of a copy black). Rated at a modest 18ppm in black or colour, it delivered black text at 16ppm, and mixed colour graphics at a middling 14. It's not just a printer, and has a lot of additional features too, such as an ADF on the scanner as well as the flatbed.

A standout feature is the printer's ability to perform firmware updates directly from the touchscreen display. Keeping on track of printing costs and services can be difficult, which is why Brother have created Managed Print Services.Unlike some other brands, there are no warnings or help at all for where to lift the printer out of its box (except on the printer, so only visible when it's already out! The app was easy to install on both, and with this in place the printer could be identified immediately. Whilst every effort has been made to ensure that the above information is correct at the time of publication, Printerland will not be held responsible for the content of any third-party software suggested on this site and usage of any such software is at the users own risk.

I found 'secure' points halfway down, but they turned out to include the handle to open the printer, and by lifting there, the safety catch is operated, so that only the securing tape then holds most of the weight. Your Brother printer generates power and productivity at under 47dB which is quieter than an everyday conversation. As a technology reviewer he's since tested everything from routers and switches, to smart air fryers and doorbells, and covered technology such as EVs, TVs, solar power and the singularity. Within a busy office environment, you don’t need any additional noise to distract you from your work. Yields will vary greatly depending on image, area coverage, print mode and environmental conditions. Mating it to my router was almost painless and used the WPS option; it needed a second try and mated on that. This is an efficiently functional, boxy, but pretty rugged all in one wireless printer/scanner/copier.
