About this deal

The Casio fx-9750GII has one of the most capable programming interfaces of most graphing calculators. It also has the upside of being able to graph lines pretty quickly because the calculator doesn’t have to draw so many pixels. From the list screen, you can press the “F2” button (the tab on the screen shows CALC, so this takes you to the calculations options).

This is one of the smaller graphing calculators on the market, but it’s still big enough to see the screen clearly, and the buttons are a nice size as well. I would like to ask you if it would be possible to create parametric matrices on the Casio fx-9750GII graphing calculator, that is, to have matrices whose elements are a function of parameters and always have the results with the parameters. From the home screen, choose option 2 STAT by either pressing the “2” button or arrowing over to it and pressing the EXE button. The newer model uses a SH4a CPU, has a white case shell, with a deep blue keyboard surround, and is informally known as the fx-9750GII-2. Virtually every advanced statistical function is built-in, including Chi-Squared GOF, t- tests (both 1- and 2-sample), ANOVA and all the basic functions as well. Upon closer inspection, however, there are some other significant differences to be found between them which I will highlight in this review.

Casio markets itself as a simple to use and affordable alternative to their competitors, and that once again turns out to be true. Incredibly easy to use: just think about where you'd expect the facility to be and how you'd expect to use it, and there it is!

Read more Taking everything into account: ease of use, features, build quality, display clarity, suitability for school/college use, nothing else comes near. Also if you’ve used any Casio graphing calculator in the past this will be similar and you should pick it up immediately. When plotting parametric curves, you need to go into 'set-up' and change the default setting to allow negative values of the parameter (t) to be used, as well as positive values. It doesn’t have a computer algebra system like some of the most expensive graphing calculators (like the TI-Nspire CX CAS, or the HP Prime).

Bigger isn’t always better, particularly when you’re talking about another thing to lug around in your backpack that’s probably already crammed full of books.Even if you haven’t used a Casio calculator before, or even a graphing calculator before, the fx-9750GII shouldn’t be too hard to learn. You’ll find simple easy to use apps for things like lists, graphing, tables, conic sections, and a handful more. Features icon menu system, data communications with PC and calculators, matrix/vector, metric conversions, 21 character x 8 line display and user memory.
