Application: Process steel, iron, aluminum, copper and other metals, widely used in thread repair and other processing. Spiral point taps are engineered for efficient chip removal, while the flute design aids in smooth and precise threading operations.

Round dies are suitable for general purpose threading, widely used in thread repair or cleaning the external thread.These Spiral Point Taps are suitable for cutting 25mm /1” thick material due to the safety recess at the end of the thread. Tap and dies can also be used to clean existing threads, freeing the grooves from build-up or dirt and debris. We started exhibiting at model engineering exhibitions in 1994 and realised from the shows that people wanted quite specialised tooling for their machines and also a wide range of tooling which they could adapt to suit their needs. The taps create a coarse thread for greater resistance to stripping, ensuring a reliable and long-lasting thread. Tap and die sets are used by engineers, metalworkers, and mechanics to cut internal or external threads, allowing two or more pieces of metal to screw together. Straight Flute and Fluteless Taps are manufactured with a standard Bright Finish whereas the Machine Taps have an Oxidised Finish for best results, dissipating the heat build-up associated with these applications.
