The coriander with tonka truly shines and makes this fragrance ever so much more creamy and likable. I don't get synthetic vibes as others have mentioned, but i guess because of soft sweetness coming from the amber/vanilla it may come off as makeup-y. i dont see what to hate on this frag, this 1 fragrance army for a guy who doesnt want to spend much on cologne. Yes, it does have powder, but ignore the guys that say it has just powder, it's not like that, probably they would say the same about LNDL lol. Very aromatic smelling fragrance, the pepper and lavender are 2 of the most prominent notes here, along with the tonka in the drydown which, gives it a tad of sweetness.I detect more of the apple in addition to the tonka bean and it gives a nice sweet compliment to the pepper note and leads to a really smooth, rich, dry down. mind blowing is what i can describe in one word, its very different frm the frargrance which r routine in the market. This Eau De Toilette Spray is housed in a stylish and sturdy bottle, making it not only a pleasure to use but also a great addition to my grooming collection. Real inoffensive, great for office wear or when you want to smell good and feel clean, without people smelling you too much. It is considered an oriental-Woody fragrance, but to me is oriental-fruity, since the Apple note is very strong in the output.

I've received countless compliments and inquiries about the fragrance, which is a testament to its unique appeal. Best for those at the start of their fragrance journey, or someone who wants to keep it simple, not spend too much money or really have to think about the time of year or day or occasion. As a person who isn’t really into over the top sweet scents, this works quite well in bridging a gap of semi sweetness and a lavender dominant fougere type fragrance, albeit there are many out there ( eg: Le Male, Montblanc Presence) and actually reminded me of them.I really wanted to like this one as I was looking for a cheapie to wear for work, unfortunately this fragrance is not for me.

So F Black is an inexpensive, versatile fragrance that TO ME, and IMO, that also has decent performance and is quite serviceable for a variety of situations in the cooler months. It's fresh from the lavender and the apple, but in the drydown it stays fresh spicy but also creamy, a little bit soapy and on the other hand masculine peppery. It upsets my nasal cavities in such a way that l would gladly take a swift kick to the nether regions just for my brain to stop hurting. I don't wear it like I used to because my little girl apparently has an allergy to lavender scented things and snuggling with her is more important.

I dont get the Dior Intense make up smell anymore and in the dry down hours later it smells like earthy dirt. Ultimately it’s a very well blended and classy fragrance that smells more expensive than what you’re paying for it.

If you like pepper just like me, you will love this fragrance and it doesn't smell like Terre D'Hermes at all! On contact with water, the shower gel transforms itself into an abundant foam that rinses away easily and leaves both hair and body clean, refreshed and gently fragranced. From the moment I first encountered this fragrance, I was captivated by its unique and invigorating scent. It didn’t satisfy my occasional need for something of sophistication or class but it’s absolutely a solid option for an easy not to take too seriously fragrance.
