There are still a lot of old reviews out there of the previous pre-2022 designs of the Farpoint 40 and Farpoint 55.The day pack does not have a hip belt, but it is small, so it really doesn't need one (it probably won't carry enough weight to irritate your shoulders). The Farpoint 55 itself is 3 cm deeper than Ryanair allows but I am pretty positive and relaxed that I will have no problems since there still are the compressions straps. For ease of use there’s also a side handle so when you collect your backpack from the baggage claim, you can carry it like a holdall until such point when you need to unzip the compartment and make it a backpack again. But my absolute fave thing about the Farpoint 55 is a zip at the back that conceals the main backpack straps. I prefer to carry my bag backpack-style, but many people prefer carrying their pack like a suitcase.
