These are actually some pretty cool heads! Just remember, these are going to be resin, not plastic. This upgrade kit can be used to customise Legionaries with shoulder pads bearing the draconic heraldry of the Salamanders Legion. The kit includes 10 shoulder pads, each bearing a raised, sculpted icon that makes them simple to paint in the Legion’s signature colours, with a studded rim design appropriate to MKII ‘Crusade Armour’. Spread these components around your army and combine them with transfers to capture that signature XVIII Legion aesthetic, or outfit entire squads for an elite, unified look. Heart of the Legion: While the unit has at least half of its models within 6″ of an objective the entire unit gains Feel No Pain (6+) and Stubborn. If the unit already had Feel No Pain (i.e. included an apothecary) then that FNP is increased by 1. So throw an Apothecary in a unit with this rule, sit on an objective with a 4+ FNP after save, and become Stubborn to not run away or get pinned as easily, ensuring you’ll be incredibly difficult to shift.

The Space Marine Sergeant may also have melta bombs and teleport homer, and can exchange his boltgun and/or bolt pistol for a Chainsword, Combi-melta, Combi-flamer, Combi-plasma, Combi-grav, Storm Bolter, Plasma pistol, Grav-pistol, Power weapon, or Power fist [1c]. Complete the look with a set of 10 resin shoulder pads. These are proudly emblazoned with the heraldry of Ferrus Manus – personally, if we’d managed to dunk our hands in molten metal, we wouldn’t want to be reminded of it, but Ferrus is clearly made of sterner stuff. Iron Hands Cataphractii Shoulder Pads: November 11th, 2022 Dedicated Transports help get your units where you want them with relative safety, bringing more tactical options to the table but do cost you points as well. If you’re taking multiple of these transports you’ll have to weigh up if you’d rather not simply have more units on the table. This will depend on your own playstyle as well as other factors like your Legion choice, Rite of War, etc and there’s really not a wrong answer.

They have the same options as Recon squads, bayonets, shotguns, nemesis bolters etc. Essentially they’re just a cheaper way to get those tools with a worse save and without being able to take and hold objectives. A unit of 5 with nemesis bolters will run you 115 points as opposed to a Recon squad at 135 with the same loadout. It’s a small difference but sometimes it makes all the difference in list building! Worth considering if you need to save those few points.In plastic, there’s the Primaris Company Champion and the Blood Angels Captain in Terminator Armour. In resin are Brother Corbulo, Chapter Master Pedro Kantor, Chapter Master Gariel Seth, Flesh Tearers Shoulder Pads, Darnath Lysander, Dark Angels Company Master, Captain Sicarius, Sergeant Chronus, and Sergeant Telion. In resin, with plastic parts are Captain Tycho, Chaplain Cassius, and the Tyrannic War Veterans. And finally, in metal and plastic is the White Scars Khan on Bike. This upgrade kit is comprised of 10 resin components and is designed to be assembled with Cataphractii Terminators, which are sold separately. These components require assembly and are supplied unpainted – we recommend using Citadel Colour paints.
